YNot “fleet” to compete in Tucson

March 22, 2010 – YNot Racing’s full fleet of vehicles, including Lucas Oil Series Top Alcohol Dragster Driver Jim Whiteley and the J&A Service Dragster, will compete in the divisional race March 26-28.

The team will test Thursday, March 25, at Southwestern International Raceway in Tucson Ari., then plans to compete March 26-28.

The YNot Top Alcohol Dragster won the Tucson event at its last running in 2008.

“Continued performance improvement is the focus,” said Whiteley’s Crew Chief Norm Grimes. “We anticipate a number of very good race cars competing for a win this weekend, and we know the challenge that we face.”

The entire team consists of Whiteley’s TAD dragster, which has two second place finishes in 2008 and 2009, and four other racers. Whiteley’s wife, Annie and her sister, Anita Olsen, will be driving their Top Dragsters. The brand new, beautiful 1969 Top Sportsman Camaro will be driven by Stephen Whiteley. That new addition was built by Dennis Blackstone. Completing the YNot entries is the super hot Top Sportsman Cobalt driven by John Baker.

“Every car in the lineup is running in an effort to improve their performance and sharpen their competitive edge,” said Owner and Driver Jim Whiteley.
