I wonder which would be better performance on a 526 BAE Hemi?

    A 30% over 14-71 Hi Helix Superman or a 30% over 16-71 Hi Helix?

I think the case sizes are pretty much the same.

Case length has nothing to do with it, the superman is longer because of the onset brng plates, the superman will be a better blower because of efficiency,

Yea, case length was the point. I knew the rotors were different lengths. So does the insert with the rotors pushed back on a superman make up the difference for the shorter rotors?

Yes, the inlet of the superman or our lb-20 increases boost, less manifold temp, and less hp to turn the supercharger, efficiency is the key and these help that tremendessly

    Andy,

Thanks for the replies. Is the LB 20 good at high overdrive, say 40%. Or does it lose it efficiency and really a better blower at lower ODs?

So far we have seen this blower work just fine from 12% on a NFC to 70% on an alcohol flatbottom and every overdrive in between

Let me clarify, we have seen the lb-20 6-71 STD rotor from 12-40%, 8-71 high helix from 25-50% and the 14-71 high helix from 50-70%, and do far results have been positive

We got 8-71 HH K8 blowers new from LF in 2000 (I might be off by 1 yr)
Back then, on the dyno we were 1390 HP @ 43% over and 1530 @ 68% over, both with good fuel tunes. So we picked up right at 10% HP
