    So what’s up for next year? Who got a new car? Who’s changing classes? Who’s out?

    Bradshaw wants a ride in T/F. Lucas got Baca’s old car with Grimes tuning. Force is in the D/M car. Bartone in a TF/FC? Foley going T/F? Veney is racing with his Dad. The other Bartone car is for sale. Nicholson is out. Haley? Who else is doing what?

    Von Smith has purchased the Roy Hill Mustang he drove this year and will be a big presence in Pro Mod next year. Jay Payne will have a Corvette Pro Mod while wife Shelley will be driving a brand new Murray Anderson built '67 Camaro Pro Mod. Jimmy Rector will continue to tune for Mark Thomas in A/FC and IHRA Champ Mitch Stott in P/M. Foy Gilmore is selling his A/FC operation and is building a '41 Willys for himself and a '63 'Vette for new team mate Jerry Rhodes for Outlaw Pro Mod competition.

    The latest gossip is PROMOD is still a exibition class. Anderson is pissed that PROMOD has not been accepted as an NHRA class.

    He wants to sell lots of engines. His ONLY reason for running PROMOD is to sell engines and that will hurt the Nitrous guys.

    Nick...Shelly and Jay joining PROMOD is NOT a good thing... it is a bad thing.

    jay will still campaign his alky fc next year.

    the team went to pick up the new mckinney car this week.

    just went to lunch with his bottom end guy from this year.

    I never said it was good or bad. It just is. Blown Hemi wanted to know who's got new cars, who's changing classes etc.

    Personaly I don't see anything wrong at all. Jay will still be running his A/FC and Shelley will be back in competition. I also expect to see Von Smith running A/FC in 2004. What is bad about that? Brad already sells a lot of engines in P/M. I don't think a few more are going to hurt nitrous racers.

    Alan Johnson's combination is in the mix too.

    It would be neat to see Walt Austin and Pat Austin in a Pro-mod car running against some of the reddies too.

    I heard that URC no longer makes funny cars and that is why Jay didn't buy another car from him. I didn't hear anything about weight though. When I heard that I assumed that Jay would be buying a car from hadman. Kinda suprised he went with Mckinney. But hey what do i know?
