Volunteer Labor In Indy!!!!!

I'm a 40 year old, diesel mechanic. I've been nuts over alcohol cars my whole life, never been on a team. I was looking for a small team near the Indy area, to lend a hand to. I have alot of mechanical experience in general, and have desire to find out what makes these things tick, before I get to old. I own a truck & equipment repair shop in Indy, I also have a class A CDL with 10 years driving exp. I got my own bracket car and been around some comp cars,
worked in a chassis shop when I was in high school. Closest thing to an alcohol team I spent two days at the nationals with Don Dean and Jimmy Jones, they ran a twin turbo top alcohol car back in the 80's. I sent resumes to a few teams when I first got out of high school, that about as far as it went. I can't get this outa my crawl, if anyone can help let me know, can set my own hours.
