Valve Springs

    Any suggestions for blown alky motors. What brand do you reccomend. What installed pressure do you like to see, when do you you toss them? how many runs are you getting, and at what RPM?

    Are you asking about intakes or exhaust?
    Intakes are hydraulics 101 the bigger the valve
    The more pressure it takes to keep it closed under boost

    But we have in the past Used Comp Cams 948 springs
    But have now went to Sig Erson’s this year
    We will run about 400- 425 on the intake :eek:
    Pull intakes at 350
    And 300-350ish on the exhaust
