Used 6-71 Hampton polished/Dow-7 mag. alch/nitro blower. This blower is a true period correct survivor and if you are restoring a car or building a cackle fest motor this blower screams late 60's early 70's nostalgia which will give you points amongst the purists for having a period correct part and not a reproduction. Blower has a cast Hampton front cover, Hampton front bearing plate, nine rib Hampton blower case and a Hampton rear bearing plate that have all just been polished and Dow-7 plated just in time for the cackle fest or car show debut that you have been wanting to make with your hot rod. Blower has cast sixty degree rotors that ride in precision double row ball bearings with durable steel helical gears that insure accurate rotor timing. Rotors have Teflon side strips and nylatron tip strips which will make this blower pound in the show or if the buyer likes buy this blower and put it on your hot rod and go racing. Blower has a 12.250" x 3.875" top opening but a bug, bird or most injector hats with a 13.250" on center bolt pattern can be used with this blower. This blower has been freshened up with all new seals, hardware and gaskets for alch/nitro. Blower snout is 3.875" long which also has been freshly dipped in the Dow-7 with a new double lipped Teflon seal installed and the driveshaft has a .500" ratchet provision so the racer can turn the motor over to adjust the valves or back the motor down. Blower has gear oil in it and is ready to run down the 1320. Perfect for the blown '92 or nitro breathing small block. These are typically the holly grail amongst late 60's early 70's drag cars so don't let this blower slip away. Now the only bummer part is the casting has small pores that show in the picture that look a little funky but in person are barely noticeable. This blower was a true barn find that had some bird poo on the front that etched the mag and the polisher felt that if the parts were ground all the way down to take out the pores it would take to much material away.
