There was some talk recently about a couple of TF electric vehicles said to match current nitro TF performance measures.

Has anybody heard anything, or seen them actually run at the tracks Yet ?

I don't think there is anything out there that is even close to a top dragster spec. The car that Garlits was trying to go 200 with seemed to disappear. Not sure if it was a funding issue or other. I read of one that seemed to be a lot more marketing effort than anything based on the pictures I saw. It was nowhere near TF capable. It would be interesting to see some the new axial motor concepts integrated into a car in place of the engine. Battery size and weight is going to be the killer. The more power you want, the more battery you need, the heavier it gets, the more it slows back down. I'm not sure of the power to weight for the batteries, but I'm sure it's significant especially when you're talking pure acceleration capable versus range capable.
