Anyone familiar with Prelubing a Gen 2 TFX with a drill. The Even side gushes oil and the odd side only oozes.

Have disassembled it down to the block chasing it top down. Pulled the cam out. #4 cam bearing is pinned in place. Oil passages from the block deck to the bearing are clear.

The even side passage has a restrictor and flows like crazy. For some reason the odd side just barely oozes oil. No restrictor. Both sides are pugged at the top.

I'm not convinced there is a problem other than cold 70wt oil and turning the oil pump at drill speed.

    Any input is welcomed.

Talk to AJPE and make sure the restrictors are correct....some of their blocks used different restrictors on LH & RH sides...there might be a drawing on the AJPE site...

Thanks, spoke to them. I wish there was an oil system schematic somewhere. Would have saved a ton of troubleshooting.

This block uses a restrictor only on the even side. That side flows constantly regardless of engine position. The issue was resolved by having the crank and cam in the correct static position before oil would flow out the odd side.
