TARA Forming Subcommittees

TARA is looking to form subcommittees in the following areas: Marketing, Safety and Membership. With the 2004 season approaching, TARA wants to make advances in these areas for the classes and are looking for members to assist in those areas. Contact Tate Branch, Mike Kosky, Bruce Bowler or Shelly Howard for more information.

TARA To Address Time Between Rounds

Although this has been brought up with NHRA several times before, TARA intends to address NHRA on between rounds service time after the Pomona incident where the finalists were given only 30 minutes to service their cars. The issue was directly addressed in the Indy meeting with NHRA, and was acknowledged as a valid issue. TARA will take the matter up again with NHRA.

TARA Seeks Driver/Team Profiles

In an effort to work with NHRA to promote alcohol racers, TARA is seeking driver and team profiles from current class participants. Look for a profile form on Monday on InsideTopAlcohol.com.

TARA Looking Forward to 2004

Rumors of TARA's death has been greatly exaggerated. TARA is looking forward to the 2004 season, and hopes to make new strides with the classes. It has been a big ship to get off the ground, but we hope to take alcohol racing to new heights next year!
