    80's FC pics

Heres a few I dug out of a box in the basement from 1980 and 1983 all were taken at New England Dragway in NH and have never been posted anywhere before. I know the drivers of the first four. Thank KathyL at the Funny Car Connection for hosting them for me!

OK fokes heres the deal. I need some help. My finance, Melissa, is working on a scrap book for me. It was supposed to be for this christmas...well it might make it by next christmas. Anyway she needs some help. She needs pictures and stories. Anything you can remember about my father and the Bell Boys or our years with Craig Gleason (1994 to 1998) stories and pictures. You can e-mail her at melobell2b@aol.com

    Thanks

Charley Byers Was - Make My Day He was a div 4 car. I remember he went out to pomona an won the finals. His crew chief was Artie Lund. He painted a car for us & Bobby Mariott. His painter name was Spook.
I also remember Stan Sipos crashing in Houston. They interviewed him and he said he was just a passenger on a fast bus ride.Davenport tuned his car.

Hi guys and gals. Happy holidays. Thanks for the plugs above... appreciate it. I do want to ask all the alky and injected nitro teams and fans to check out what we have on draglist.com to ensure what we have is right and complete. We have all the cars you mentioned above, but we want to make sure we have best times, body styles, chassis builders, etc. for every year they ran. It's a huge job and we finally have the Draglist set up so that other folks can help if they want. Anybody who visits can edit any entry on the list and a great new feature is that folks can add a photo to any entry on the list. Please check out what we have so far and jump in with an edit or a photo. We keep track of everyone who contributes and we're looking to increase our staff by hundreds! ;)

Here is the link to see what we have on alky FCs so far. We are FAR from complete... so tear it up!

All my cars were named "Grim Reeper" (like my last name) except for the following:
**Monza Funny Car purchased in 1979 from the late Gordon Mineo named "Flash Gordon". My partner, Jack Findley campaigned this car under the name of "Blown Glass".
**Monza Funny Car partnered with the late crazy, Carl Stone from 1981 named "Stoned Reeper".
