Sprag Question

I have switched to a large sprag set up, I measured the larger sprag itself and it appears to be around .993 in width, as opposed to the .980 the Lenco website calls for, are the tolerances really important, I was using a $5 plastic vernier at work, so, it could be out .020 or so, but, just curious, also, when switching to big sprags I know its just a drop in deal, with the exception of the reverser, but, are the outer races the same size, or are they larger?. thanks!!

PS: I measured the inner race for the big sprag, it was just about 1.125 in width, is this correct?
