What do you guys recommend for a blown small block Chevrolet head ? I am using the brodix 11x heads now with a 871, 406ci we run on a 6.75 index. ( im a ways off yet) The car weighed 1850 with driver, in a dragster. Also going to switch blocks, want to run an aluminum block, but thinking of a little m. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Les

I ran Brodix Canted Valve heads for years on my FED 4.125” bore 3.625 stroke Little M block ran 6.60’s - 6.70’s 1800lb with driver. I ran water in the heads to make the head gaskets last more than a weekend. I sold this combo a few years ago and switched to the AJPE heads and a Brodix block I have maintained the same bore stroke and has run 6.47 @ 214 but I typically run it in the high 6.60’s to 70’s with very little maintenance.

I have Paul's old top end. It is to fast for my index class, so i've gone back to 23* heads. I'm selling the Hogan intake, heads, T&D valve train, pushrods, spare pushrods & spare springs, & Brodix CS320 heads that have had extensive work done to them, (have flow sheet). Give me a holler if it sounds like something you're interested in.

Pic is this combo on my FED
