I'm sorry Don, but I completely misunderstood what you were asking when you started this thread. You said, Russ Parker, what is your take on this? And then referenced the new deal with Ken Black on the Hillary Will top fuel car. I didn't realize that you were asking how much I received for brokering the deal. Like you, I saw this as a good thing. Knowing that a top fuel car will consume any amount of money thrown at it, I could accept nothing other than the shiek's humble gratitude. I certainly agree with you Dave. So much of sponsorships is being at the right place at the right time and building solid relationships. As far as promotion goes, that might be right up there with how hard it is to field an alcohol car. Seems like a higher the risk/higher the reward proposition.
