I swear on my mothers grave, my judge at the divorce hearing, was named Robert Hight. I am NOT kidding. Even the ex got a chuckle out of that.

The second best joke...my alimony is a whopping $124 a month. Let's say she was counting on a LOT more. I joked with the judge (after it was final) that it took more to fill my truck.

Alright, alright, alright! To CLARIFY:

I'm all for poking a little fun. If you can't take a joke, don't hand one out! I've only been married 2 years, and I even make fun of my 'ball and chain' who does NOT race. BUT, I get a little fired up about the derrogatory comments about being married, to a woman that is.

You are right, I haven't raced on nitro BUT I'm 1/3 of the way of getting my license in a TAD blower car. I think that a .955 60' isn't too shabby and while I haven't broken into the 5's, I get what a life-altering experience it is.

And finally, I'm 27, so I presume that I will dry up and give up on sex by...40 you said?

kriswillhelm- Lighten up dude. This is all in good fun. You will understand sometime. (I hope) I'm 43 years old and have been married for 23 of that. (yes to the same women) She once asked me when we were still dating if I would eventually race all the time. I told her.... Nah I wont' do that. My nose grew 1320 feet on that one. Long story short, I'm still with her, I live and breathe drag cars and my 9 year old is in juniors and, she still comes to the track. LIFE IS GOOD!!!

I call my ex the dark side for obvious reasons. I got custody of our 5 year old daughter and she pays me. My daughter loves racing and her mother hates it more than me. Two weeks after I got custody I bought a 48 foot trailer with her money in her honor!

 

Did you put her name on the side of the trailer??

 

No because she won't pay contingency money

 

I'm lucky, I only have 11 months and a wedding and I am done with mine. YEE HAW!!!!!

By the way my daughter loves racing and her mother can't stand it or me. I take every opportunity to rub it in her face too.
