I have a plexiglass block that is milled out to a exact measurement inside to be like a combustion chamber to put on top of a cylinder with the piston at TDC. I can fill it with a measured amount of water and compute the exact CC of a piston dome installed. The problem is the one I have is for a Chevy. Does any one know who makes one for a hemi pistion with a 4.500 bore?

    mike,

not too many hemi pistons are 4.500 bore.

i would say 85% out there is 4.375. some of the newer stuff, esp in fc is 4.460, and some of the older stuff is 4.310.

OK Will, ya caught me, it is a Ford Hemi but the plexiglass block will be the same and 4.46 is close enough to 4.500.

We use close enough building the jet fighters here at the plant. We just never tell the pilots.

I guess I am going to have to mill one out myself. I was really hoping that somebody out there was all ready making them. Maybe I need to make them and sell them myself.
