I think this is a hard question to answer without knowing what brand of piston. The JE's are run much tighter than many other brands. It also depends on your tune up ie how far into the zone do you want to be

I just checked my take out pistons 4.310 bore. The skirts were down .034 from the rebuild. I started at .010 PTWC. Now it measures .044 that's a lot of piston rock. My puke tank is 7. inches higher than the valve covers I only got about half a shot glass of oil each pass. 38 psi. 52% od.14-71 HH delta 12.5:1 7800 rpm for 8 sec.( Jet Boat Deal) 1125-1175 egt 35 deg timing bbc.I know this isn't what this post is all about but, Its food for thought:confused:. Hell I'm still in shock!!:eek:Best pass 6.11 @ 140 1000 ft.I cant believe I wasnt shooting oil to the moon.

I'm willing to bet if you had more boost, you would have more oil/fuel in the puke tank.
I don't know your motor, but if your only making 38lbs of boost at 52% over, then it sounds to me you have a weak blower or the wrong cam.
