    This is a new motor combo. Ran a MSD 10+ on a BBC with the same blower, hat, tranny, converter last year. No Issues. Engine sounds great at fire up and free revving. Plugs are NGK 6061 gapped at 12thou. The ProMag 44 is brand new big cap, The Points Box is 8147 brand new. The coil was used from a top fuel team but checked out good. Wires are MSD brand new, I have a very very reputable source tuning my fuel curve. Fuel system is clean. We took it completely apart last night and clean everything out. If engine still acts crazy tonight then Im gonna send all of my ignition to Leahy to be tested.

    I have had a brand new ignition box pop and bang down track. Even new boxes need to be tested.
