Mag won't fire with crank trigger

    I am guessing maybe you had a bad trigger, which is only a hall effect switch by the way

    I experienced the same phenomenon. It doesn't make sense, since like you said it's a hall effect. So the signal is either there or it isn't, but it does make a difference at cranking speed on the spark strength. That's what was confusing me. i couldn't even see the spark with the crank trigger, but i turned the lights off and you could see it. Go figure.
