Rules changes must be made, because blown alcohol dragsters need to stay period

    Either and/or:

Give the blown cars some overdrive
    Allow the better PSI
Add constraints on the fuel cars (% nitro, gear ratio, other)

    or

Go back to a strikely roots class (no high helix), single mag and burn some pistons.

We are building a new Team\Combination for division 4 competition next season. I use to [as a spectator\fan of TA\FC] want this nitro combination change, but now as an investor, my views have changed. Not for the sake of car count,I would love to see the car counts go up. But thats not what has happened for dragster class. Blown cars have slowly been attracted to the other side like moths to the porch light of hope [and final round appearances],guided that way by parity that never comes.Where are the blown cars now? There is no indication that this would not happen in TA\FC!
Parity without politics.....sure.Parity without new agenda....ok.
If not, I would rather concentrate on more important things....like eating grandma's sweater!!

ATC, if NHRA allowed A-Fuel FC's. Blow cars would go the way of the Dinosaur!

So how are the "nitro coupes and altereds" doing in the not so regulated circuits? If the nitro combination does not eat valve springs, rods, and other hi-rev items, and you can not have 10k in a blower that is never the latest(PSI revision whatever)and no Lenco plus a spare,,,,,Well it seems if you get the tune up right, it should be a lot less expensive and perhaps in a year or two there would be parity,,,,,,not like dragsters when it took years for the correct clutch design and correct tuneup to occur?????just wondering also what the spectators would like to see???

can't blame BAD guys for tryin to run the equipment they have- what are the chances for selling these cars??????? If they all go on the market after Indy????????? Still will be fun to compete at the 50th Indy, even if they are not competative- These guys & gals still have racing in their blood ya know!

    David,

I finally got out to Topeka and got to see the class run. Congrats on the runner up. I was curious, do you prefer not to use air jacks? Are they unstable? Just curious if I really needed them for my car. Good luck in Indy.

I hope that at least all members of TARA will be brought up to date.
