i hope all works out for those interested. i sat in on a meeting just like the one you did a while back in Norwalk. i also bet i heard the exact same story that you did about raising money to support a class. we raised a few 100k to support the now defunct Super Eliminator/ Pro Outlaw class. we were then told that we were being replaced by Top Stock Eliminator. all i'm saying is don't believe everything you hear when it comes to IHRA.

My What if?

The IHRA looks to be an East coast thing, except Tulsa.

What if the West coast AFD guys just did their own thing, and invited a few sportsman classes to play too?

What's wrong with an A/Fuel nationals in October at a good air track.
Invite Fuel Altereds
Invite any 2 nitro anything that wants to match race.
Could even invite the Nitro Harleys'.

 

I bet the IHRA would take your deal in a second today. I hope things can go forward with the A/Fuel deal, the AMS/JEGS/NHRA has showed buy in classes can work and I bet the IHRA would treat you a lot better than the NHRA has treated the Pro Mods.
