IHRA dead??

Heard today that after this year the IHRA will be gone, anyone else heard this?

jody - I heard that the current ownership has given it until the end of 2010 to make it work or else. This was said to Top Fuel teams who asked and needed the information for their 2010 sponsorship proposals. andy b.

LOL If I had a nickel for every time I heard someone say this about a company, IHRA or others...I would be a very very rich man. End all be all is no one really knows anything except the company themselves.

On a side note Jody...are you coming up to the race at MIR? We are going to try and make it over there! Air should be really good!

Ihra died a couple of years ago when they decided we needed them more than they need us.Some of the classes they thought would never abandoned them have since found a new sanctioning body to run,and what they done to the alcohol cars was just wrong.Funny how things change - seems they need us more than we need them!!!!

 

I got one of those mass emails that all is well sportsman classes are here to stay, plugging along,bla bla bla-- big problem is finding sponsors for pro classes but little guys dont worry were dedicated to you

So cool on the 4 year old....my little guy is 9...seems like he was 4 just a year ago. They grow up so fast! Good luck in Atlanta! Hope things go well! Maybe we will see you sometime next year!
