I have sponsored alcohol funny cars over on the IHRA side over the years. We are not sponsoring one for 2006 and this change to Nitro was part of the reason. I would say over time it will take care of itself. Either the funding for Nitro will go away, and they will drop the class again, or it will be successful and he Alky cars will go away. That is what my crystal ball says, but it has been known to be wrong before.

Do Blown cars have sponsorship potential disadvantage? $$$$$

Clayton I have another question for you. let's say you are a new sponsor entering the sport and you have two potential rides to sponsor. One blown alky Dragster and one A/Fuel Dragster. Both cars very competitive within their respective blown/unblown combinations. You have the results and aggregate points Tally's for the past five seasons from NHRA.com. The fuel car did better nationally but the blown car won the division. Which would you choose to sponsor?
