Just found out Mike had an accident Sunday while riding his lawn mower. He got banged up pretty good, but is out of the hospital and ok now.

I'll drink a Miller Lite for you, get well soon and get back to the track!

    Best Wishes Mike

Was with Mike and his crew at Cecil celebrating his Birthday ( 29 ) and getting the benefit of his knowledge and concern for this sport. Always a pleasure to be around Mike. By now you should know that cutting the lawn is a young mans game.....stick to racing where you old guys kick ass! Looking forward to seeing you at E Town:D

    Mike Kosky status report

    Hi Guys,

I guess I did my self in good this time. I have a broken thumb, left hand (it took 3 pins to fix) and 48 stiches in my forehead. I also have a broken nose, and shattered eye socket (orbital socket) what ever that means. Also on my left hand two broken fingers. I keep finding more cuts and bruises. Janet says that after I heal, there will be more black and blue marks when she gets done with me.

The tractor is a total. The blades got my forhead good.

Last word on this accident, is that the John Deere tractor is stronger and was in the other lane. We also found out they do not fly. The tractor and me rolled over several times approx 20 foot on to the highway below the edge of my yard. I looked pretty grim for about 12 hours until the trama unit got done doing their thing. None of my ribs, legs, feet, and eyes got hurt. Most of all my neck and back were only bruised. Every muscle in my body still hurts but I will be a able to race another day! Its just not certain when that will be. E-town is out for now.

At least my fridge has a lot of miller light stocked up. That may help the pain.

I want to thank everyone for there thoughts and prayers. I definately had an angel on my shoulder.

    Thanks again

    Mike
