Fuel pump experts: Help me diagnose this problem

    He is cam mounted Mark. Using a drill running CCW would correct.

    Dave, that is assuming you are looking at the back of the pump ? Not the front .

    Yes - a cam mounted pump runs ccw when looked at from the back - which is where the drill has to be hooked up.

    Anyway - I have no idea what is now hopefully fixed, but the car fired up tonight and I ran about 2 gallons of fuel through it so that the fuel in the tank was significantly below the level of the fuel pump and it still ran. Now my only concern is, will it keep flowing at 8,000 rpm on the track. I only know of one way to answer that question...... :)
