Entry Fees $$$$$$

    Watching a Nascar show on speed, to enter a Nascar race is $3650.00 per car, if you crash and have to go to a back up its another $3650.00. I was just curious what NHRA charges for there pro classes also TA/D and TA/FC.

    NASCAR does not charge an entry fee, they charge a Tech Inspection fee. If you need to tech a back-up car, you pay the fee again.

    $157,000 on tech inspections (for only 43 cars) per race? Increasing dramatically when you stuff your primary car in qualifing...

    How many races would you have to win to make 350K. If your run TF or FC you would have to win 7 races T/AD and TAFC 70 wins to get there. How many of you would really like to pay 3650 to have your car teched if you knew that if you Quailfied you would get 300K sure would make racing a heck of a lot more fun LOL

    I guess if NHRA only had 43 racers to pay instead of 643 they could up the payout a little, too.

    I heard from a bird that back in the days when nhra started out in its first years that nhra had a chance to hook up with nascar, imagine the powerhouse this would of been? well maybe its good it didnt happen,,,,,right? or wrong?:confused:

    But thats their stupidity,..besides they are so drunk by lap 50 that
    they only watch 20 % of the whole race.

    They get hammered cause they're bored. Watching cars turn left 300-500 times isn't my idea of a good time.

    but you guys have to agree that at the local tracks when they have figure 8's thats fun! the sprint cars are nice too, :D
