dual or single wing ??

    was just wondering y the a\fuel cars run a dual element rear wing and the blown alcohol cars run a single ,,,wen they seem to both run the same top speed ,, !!

    Adam; all "monkey see - monkey do's" aside, the nitro cars will burn more fuel with the load created by the drag of the dual element wing.
    Blown alky cars need to rev to get blower boost, so any excess drag will only slow them down. They have to understand that as long as they can cancel the lift created by surface area to keep the car stable, anymore downforce is a waste and will slow the motor down.
