when you use a positive stop on the piston, you will obviously have to keep moving the pointer until you get "x" degrees on both sides of zero. If you have a wheel with zero already marked and it's nowhere close, you may have to pull the degree ring off the hub and re-clock it.

Also on a RCD degree wheel, the magnets are 20 degrees behind the 90 marks. I usually take a punch and mark the magnets so when you go to set trigger timing, you can find the magnets easy (big pulleys cover up the magnets on the side so you can't see them).

Pro Tip - if you have the older style RCD drop in pointer, epoxy it in, that way you have no movement in it.
