Converter stator exchange

Why hasn't anyone started on this site or Facebook one a group chat for stator exchange. We pay so much for these damn things to try and never can get rid of them for a 1/2 the price of new. I was just thinking that maybe it would nice if guys said hey I've got x y z laying here for someone to try and I'm looking for one that this.... maybe trade or do a hold while they use it. There gotta be something for all of us to benefit from without screwing each other over. Just seems like converter companies wanna sell you as many as they can before you get the correct one. Just a thought
