Depends a lot on the boost, blower type & on how many $$$$$$$$ and a million other things you have.

Alan Johnson 481X, P/M 1471 helix at 20%, 12.5-1 compression with 32-34 degree timimng. Works for us.

aj481x, how many pounds boost do you see from launch thru to the traps? Just curious.

20% rule about 38-39 psi in good air. Put a new K9 on this week, be interested to see if it helps.

We run 10.95 at 45 # boost 30 deg mag 20 10,500 rpm tried higher comps but didn't really go any better to justify the extra wear.
