burst panel size

Hi all!
working on a KB mag intake and removed burst panel frame and "adapter" made by the previous owner (see pics)
it happens that the panel dimensions on the intake are the same as a mini burst panel:can i use one?
application in a 526 KB hemi with fuel heads and whipple screw blower(has built in burst panel).
this intake was on a roots application with 14.71 littlefield high helix at 46% OD.
