I need to look inside this pump and can't find any diagrams/pictures. Was wondering if there are any (yes, I called Barnes)? Anything to watch out for (springs popping out onto floor, you know what I mean...) when I take it apart?

    THX

(FYI: Pump type is a front gear cover mount on the Fontana/MBR HEMI)

    no issues

You can take the pump apart and not lose any pieces the bypass is caged. It only comes apart if you back the adjuster all the way out. Any time you have a failure you need to disassemble and clean it.

I thought I was the only one using a Barns. How long are your gears?

Mine is red with rcd band clamp. It's 1.7 with heavy spring. Is it enough? Called barns and they dont know what their own pumps flow at any pressure????

We have no issues with oiling just need to keep the pan full. The 4x6 pan need at least 16 quarts. The Fontana isn't fussy about oil pressure people run 90 to 160 psi don't see much difference

Would any of you guys have or know someone that is looking to sell a wet sump oil pump for a MBR? We have the old style mag Fontana front cover.

    Thanks
