BAE High Port Heads Question

Hi Guys,
I'm looking at an engine that has BAE high port heads (521 hemi).
What are these heads, BAE TA1X, BAE 10X, etc, etc,?
The owner just keeps saying "High Port" heads, are these something different all together?
What header flanges are needed on these?

Also, I noticed a small box with 8 copper/brass washers.
What are these for, spark plugs maybe?
