    one of the racers on the comp board said that they have done away with the armco at noble....now just need to work on the shutdown.

    bumps are also an issue

    The bumpy shut down area is also an issue at some tracks. Woodburn for instance, both lanes but the left is really bad. the car gets bouncing at about 1000 feet and just keeps right on bouncing throught the shutdown. a real white knuckle ride sometimes and usually gets you right over against the wall so when you get down where the armco is you just bought another parachute as it hangs up on the posts and shreds it. No way to slow the car down when it is off the ground. The good news is it runs off into a farm field and the guy gets pissed off when the cars end up in his field.
