a/fuel rod and crank question

    a/fuel 421ci avg.5.50`s rarely have to swap bearing shell on the rods other than the 2nd pair to rotate in.
    would like to hear other oppinions on how many runs on the rods you allow for before pulling them out..brooks b2 or grp senerio..
    i under stand about checking the small end evry so often.
    and how bout how many runs on a crank before you pull it and mag it ????
    all this considered under a perfect world
    no hurt parts, ive heard this somewhere...lol
