600 ft GRP Rods

    Especialy when your over 50, at least in my case. Also, I never torque my rods over 80lbs. With Fowler Alcohol rods.

    Ran GRP lots of trouble pulled thread.
    Bolt in pan with pulled threads still on it. New torque wrench....I knew you would ask. Snapon TQFR250E also used TECH3FR250 Both NEW!! All were torqued...they guy pulling the torque wrench runs the Credit Card. He know how costly it is to not check them all.

    Try this......put a rod bolt in a rod with no cap......turn it in 3 turns....if it is still loose and can rattle around it will pull out!!!!
    Stretch gauge??????? How can you use a better bolt to fix a bad thread cut in the rod???

    Now using MGP no more trouble
    bolts fit very nice in rod no more pulled threads.....
