Does anybody use #24 an fittings and hose for there fuel line from the tank to the pump? I know most use aluminum tube, clams and rubber hose, I want to use an stuff. The #24 an braided rubber hose is 1.375 ID and the #24 an tube fitting ID is 1.250. Ive always run rubber hose but I want to switch to an stuff is it big enough? Thanks

Why reinvent the wheel. Every blown car on the planet is hose with the elbow. Are you having problems?

No not having a problem, But after the crash I have to re do tank and line and wanted to do something better looking. I run a little bertha pump and the inlet tube that threads into it is just under 1 1/4 ID, so if I use -24 fittings it will be 1 1/4 up to that instead of 1 1/2. Yes I had the tube and rubber 1 1/2...... bottom line is will 1 1/4 be ok to the pump?

Shouldnt be a problem, We have run a AN16 hose the last 5 years with a Enderle 1270 pump that flows aprox 20gpm.

We use at Rage pump set to around 21 GPM. Rage will deliver that sort of pump with your choice of hose inlets or -16 -20.
We opted for the -20 and fitted an internal support coil to the AN hose just to be sure.

I use 1 1/4 aluminum tubing with wiggins clamps. Works really good and it is easy to work with. Pricy but nice...

That would be the plan if you're going to run AN hose on the suction side.

Our Nostalgia fuel FC came from Victory racecars with a AN20 fitting on the fueltank, so thats what we use from tank - pump.
Waterman 21g, revs app 9500-10000 and it works fine for us.
And as mentioned, an internal support in the hose would be wise.
