14-71 High Helix Edjucation

An update on my deal:

Managed to sell my blower and injectors. Put the word out that I was actively searching for it's replacement, and well within 24 hours I was into a complete deal, that was almost still warm.

I bought a 14-71 Kobelco Superman high helix, mods from DMPE. Setback plate, RCD belt guard, Big and ugly hat, Dmpe hat spacer, up 2.5, forward 2.5, 14-2 DJ restraint and bag, Hilborn -4 17 gpm pump, and complete fuel system. The fuel system flowed by Spud. Made 40-42 lbs. at 35% (11lbs on the chip) on a 526 hemi.

Was told I have enough apples and oranges to start my own orchard, lol, it's going on my 540" Chevrolet.

I ran FED for a few years, found out that it did not like the usual big tire that a RED runs. Ended up with a light weight Hoosier on a 14 in wide 15 in dia wheel. Never tried it with a Beadlock or liner though, just rim screws. Ran a blown big block Chevy into the mid 6.50's with it.

Mike how high of O'DONNELL can you run with superman.

 

Who is the right person to mod k11 k other than dmpe. And are most mods only helping at low od.
