Long burnouts are for the drivers and fans to enjoy. The motor, tires, and crew chief hate them. ;)
For use at the track you probably need the slide hammer type, where you can drop it in from the top, while the block is warm, and pop the sleeve...
If you have the time, and facilities, think about making your own, a screw type, instead of slide hammer.

That would probably be a good starting place. The increase is no where near linear as the "law of diminishing returns" really applies to a roots.
