    Hey guys, need some input.

I have a 288" top alcohol dragster that we will run with a roots in outlaw classes, 3.60's in the eight. The car is a solid mounted rear of coarse. Question is do I need to support the back of the trans or will this break the case? Its a Quick drive unit with a B&J 2 spd, we may run our 3 spd again later. I may also put this setup back into the funny car and am wondering if I will need a support there.

I am also looking into going to a lockup converter to use in the outlaw races which all seem to be 1/8 mile now, would there be any benefit to the lockup converter in the 1/8, 1/4, or both?

    Thanks Guys,
    Trevor Sherwood

    Marty Chance

Is that Marty Chance as in relation to Niel Chance?

Maybe I can use the old clutch blowback tubes and make some new tubes to work, nothing back there to connect to on the trans though.

    Thanks Dave,
    Trev
