Does anyone know what the rules are for the hold down straps for a TA/FC fuel tank thickness, width, material etc. Thanks

I don't know that there is an actual rule on it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Our tank is held down with a piece of sheetmetal aluminum about 5" wide on the top, tapering down on the sides to about 3" in a upside-down U shape I guess you'd call it. It is then rolled at the bottom of both sides and has a t-bolt (same size as the valve cover nuts) that is bolted right through the top framerails, through a welded in sleeve. In lieu of that method, I have seen dzus fastners used and that works just as good. Make sure it is not in there really solid, as that will crack/break the tank. If you want a photo of ours I can take one and email it to you.
