Stroke ???

    I have a 4.375 bore and was using a 4.500 crank in a promod now they ( bae ) tell me most deals now dont use 4.500 stroke do i use 4.500 and have pistons no body keeps or 4.375 crank and shelf pistons? And is the 4.500 crank have less life than a 4.375???

    Always made great power with a square motor.. Don't know about a 4.5 stroke.seems alot to me. for a blower deal. Just thought I would throw it at you. Keep asking around Good luck. Don

    you have a little stronger crank with a 4.375 versus 4.5 as the rod pin overlap is a little greater with the 4.375
    I think that is why that us that run the 4.5 have a harder time with the #5 main bearing
