Steering Damper on A funny Car

    How do most of you guys fit a steering Damper on to the front steering on a Funny car

    i have seen them with tabs welded on the tubes but i like a tube clamp thats bolts around the tube easier to adjust

    I use a 60's Volkeswagon bus steering dampner shock with a stud welded to the frame . I have a 2" piece of tubing that slips over the tie rod with two tabs welded on or a u-strap wrapped around the slip-joint and welded on.
    Remember, if you use the VW shock, it uses metrik bolts.
