I run a 1471 hi helix 526 hemi in top dragster With a glide.Leave at 4,000. When i started this deal i was told that i would find that a little lower rpm would be better.I have seen some guys leaving at idle. Any thoughts????????

    rpm

I leave at a little above idle. and I run a small motor. It is a hard question to answer, since so many factors change set ups. Tires, gears track temp timing etc. Just try and find out what makes your stuff happy. Also what you are trying to run. as far as a number. etc. Just remember you need to run the same number. You need to race smart. Spinning tires and different RPMs change that. There is more , but I am sure you can figure that out. Don
