Starting blown motor

I have a blown BAE alcohol motor, MSD ignition, funny car type starter and the style big red button type kill switch. Should I use the red button to crank it or put pig tail ground wires on the coil? Question 2 should I pull the pig tail wire off / pull button out before I hit the starter or wait until I have it spinning over?

 

Put Ground clips on the coil, mag switch off

once you have spun for oil pressure, and are ready to start, flip on your mag
kill button to run, turn fuel pump on..squirt injector with fluids,..
spin motor over untill zoomies puff or 2-3 seconds then pull the ground clips, feed injector fuel till motor runs from fuel pump.
when shutting down, turn fuel pump off, you will hear rpms go up once the fuel starts to run out
let another 2-3 seconds then hit the mag kill switch off,..dont let motor rev up very long when fuel gets shut off.
put grtound wires back on coil.
