spacer between hat and blower

    came across a 3inch spacer to run between the hat and the blower. my question is does this add any horsepower, rob horses, or make no difference? thanks!

    It depends if it lessens or increases the opening, if you use high overdrive or are restricted to lower overdrive, etc. etc... Who makes the spacer that you bought?
