    run, run away

personally, i would just stay away from anything with the impact name of it. i cant even tell you the details on the suits, but there is a lot of junk that even though it has sfi stickers on it, it still wont pass tech. i would stay with anybodys other stuff, and if its cheap, its probably out of date or will be soon. the helmets cannot be recertified, so you might as well buy a new one. they are typically 5 years, but it can vary with the snell rating comes out.the suits are 5 years. simpson has some older suits that didnt have sfi certs that can or cannot be certified depending on when they were made. simpson treated me real good on recerting my suit, and i like there products. look at the rulebook for the exact spec on these, and all the specs are there. if you bring junk gloves, they wont pass you at the track, so buying cheap doesnt mean you get to run, either, especially if it has rips or tears in it.
