We have a blown rodeck pushing aroud 1400 hp we're having problems getting oil up to the valve train, is this a issue with rodeck blocks? we just switched from a steel block. Can anyone help?

Check your lifters to see if there are not blocking of the oil holes in the liffter galley.Make sure there are no restrictors in the block. Mike:rolleyes:

If memory serves me correctly depending on the year of manufacturer some Rodeck BB/Chevy's didn't have any top end oiling. The lifters and valve train were oiled from the splash off of the crank and rods. We never had any problems because we always used anti-seize on the push rod tips.

Bob, You Are Correct We Run A Rodeck Chevy Block It Has No Oil Provisions To the Top End. We Lube The Pushrod Tips Every Pass AND Run Spring Oilers From What I Understand The Block Can Be Machined To Have Oil To The Top End But I Would Guess That Could Get Expensive
