What is a reasonable et/mph expectation for my combo, tuning ideas?

    566 BBC 4.25 X 4.535 11.25/1 compression
    Dart 320's by CFE 350 cc's flow 403 @ .800
can't find cam card but its over .800 lift alot of duration and 114lc
1471 littlefield hi-helix with modified delta opening, 29 over, (@ 11 over it made 21lbs of boost 7,600 rpm) hat injection 13.2 gallon pump 145 psi @ 7600 rpm with 95 pill, no hi speed (yet).
MSD 20 amp mag 28-30* timing
glide with 1.80 first 9.5 spragless convertor 5800 stall
    4.30 rear gear live axle
    34.5 hoosier's on double beadlocks.

Originally a nitro funny chassis but have altered body on it now. 1950lbs with driver ready to race.

    1 full run gave us .999 60ft 4.34 1/8 6.78 197mph

Plugs showed no heat at all NGK 9's. I'm thinking a little more timing and pull back some fuel. is 6.40's possible? thanks

i think 6.40's is definately possible. you should be able to do that pretty easily and not kill your stuff in the process. my 2 cents on the timing issue is this....the more timing you run, the harder it is on your parts. with your compression you should be able to run 34 and be safe. try 32, and look at the plugs and bearings. if it's happy, go up another 2 and check again. you want to inch up on things slowly. i wouldn't go over 34 personally, i'm just not a big fan of high timing. we ran a 33.5 hoosier with double bead locks on our car. we had a clutch with a blown hemi, but the car loved the tires. hope this helps a little

Well I may have found some of the reason the plugs showed no heat. TDC was off 10 degrees. Our 28 to 30 was 18 to 20 . Live and learn, probably going to like that extra 10 degrees. :D

I like to find my drivers at the track, horse race track that is. I make Mike cut weight before he's allowed into the car. If that timing was 10* retarded from what we thought, that could explain the low mph and lazy above 6500rpm?
