    Hi guys,

I have a 2.5 lb carbon fiber puke tank that I want to put on my Blown alcohol rear engine dragster. This is a 288" WB hard tail car that will run 3.60's. I scored some 1/4" Titanium solid rod (Grade 2 I think)

My thoughts were to weld 4 moly tabs to the chassis with a whole drilled in them and a rubber bushing installed, then run the ti rod through it with pins or something to keep it from moving, using 4 ti dsus tabs welded to the ti rod I would dsus my puke tank to it.

The other thought is aluminum tubing, dsus tabs, and aluminum saddles clamped to the chassis.

The third and final choice is to use some moly plate welded to the chassis to get the height up a bit and use long moly dsus tabs which is what was there before we back halved the car and changed puke tanks

My question is which will be lighter and still still strong enough.

Thanks for any and all help,
    Trevor Sherwood
