What is the purpose of placing the 2 of the nozzles in the back of the injector. Asked before and no one had a good answer . Ran 2 up front the last time I ran a PSI. Also is there a preferred location as high / low/ close together etc. Deflector ones, straight ones ? If I am going to drill some holes it will only be one time. Thanks Don

I think it's to help keep the coating on the screws. Good question. I was gonna drill my hat later(I'll be waiting now)

The two in the back of the hat are to replace the front two nozzles. Traditionally, these two nozzles have checks in them in an effort to keep the blower fairly dry at idle. He told me that when they would fire an engine up and then shut it off, they would open the butterflys and the rotors would be all wet. I would keep the two nozzles in rear most holes in the blower itself, but it is basically a personal preference on whether you would like to use the nozzle holes provided in the front of the case, or drill the back of your hat and install them there. I currently run slightly less fuel through the hat then recommended in the PSI manual, with no checks, and Norm didn't seem to have a problem with that.

I was told once that it helped to lubricate the rear portions of the rotors and prevent galling/coating damage at high overdrive, but that's only what I was told.
